[SEISMIC004] DJ TOOL & Whrikk — INITIATION

This release is an act of breaking out of conventional categories for Seismic Records — established boundaries of genres dissolved into an unpredictable flow of sonic associations. It's an unexpected collaboration, yet it makes perfect sense from the first kick: two artists from seemingly opposite ends of the musical universe embarking on a synthesis of hypnotic trance-techno and utter sonic chaos. The duality is there from the very first moment — a raw, hypnotic pulse based on rhythm and precision, with unpredictable textures and psychedelic ornaments weaving through the framework. A dedicated listener may recognize that the whole EP carries the legacy of David Lynch's work, with a playful nod hidden inside to the iconic Twin Peaks soundtrack.

Seismic Records returns with its third release, Drum Ring, crafted by Norwegian producer and Ute Records co-founder Ekkel. Emerging from the forests of Nordic electronic heritage, Teo Bachs channels the raw energy of '90s progressive sounds into mind-bending productions — a signature blend of breaks and intricate percussion creating soundscapes as cerebral as they are propulsive. The EP captures a complete mental trip through tension, ancient textures and enchanting melodies: the A-side unfolds with a neatly rolling rhythm and a controlled frenzy of percussive layers, while the B-side strikes with poignant, powerful drum kicks reverberating through distortion — restless energy that urges deeper introspection.

K.O.P. 32: based in Seoul but born and raised in France, the Beyond The Bridge label head blends his Tekno roots with an introspective approach to music, carving out a trademark sound led by pensive rhythms and psychedelic atmospheres. With fierce precision and spellbinding force, you're invited to explore the unknown depths of your psyche as you enter the state of 'Fusion' — a psychedelic odyssey that swirls into the labyrinthine pathways of the ego.

[SEISMIC001] Spekki Webu — Kept In Reality

Spekki Webu, introflexive cartographer and antimatter conduit, pares back reality for Seismic's first entry. Patiently arranging meticulous space, complex parts groan and clatter, hushed by whistling icy cosmic winds rising into intense pensive tension. Gargantuan crystalline components inscribed with strange petroglyphs whirl in mid-air as the cosmic gale whistles around — the slow walls raise without a sound. The mutation of Seismic's transportive event series into a record label is marked here: collecting shadowy industrial atmospherics and illbient, Spekki taps the frayed, raw fringes of deep tekno and proto-goa to explore charged rhythmic noise.
